Introducing the Blue Notes | Center Stage Bass Academy

In this lesson we will study the concept of adding the "blue notes" to the Pentatonic scale. This is an integral part of getting a Blues sound.

Lesson Exercise

Try bending all the 'blue' notes in a minor pentatonic scale to get a feel for how they sound. Your blues playing should start to be more authentic as you master bending these notes.
